Application Review

Every application is reviewed.

All résumés that are submitted by candidates are read and reviewed by an actual person. 
Candidates who appear to be a match for a position will be contacted by a recruiter.

Those candidates who may not be a good match for a position, but may be a good fit for future positions
are flagged for follow-up if a future opportunities arises.

Not every candidate is a match.

We do our best to contact applicants as quickly as possible, but, due to the volume of applications, please
allow up to two weeks for a response.  Our office does not take calls from applicants
looking for a status update as we receive hundreds of applications each week. 
Rest assured, all applicants will be contacted, even if they are not found to be a match.

The Interview Process

Phone Screen

Many applicants may be contacted by a recruiter for a brief phone screen to determine if their
qualifications are a match for the position for which they applied.

Phone Interview

Depending on the volume of applicants for any one particular position, you may be contacted by
a recruiter to schedule a phone interview with the hiring manager first to discuss your
interests and to go over your qualifications and work experience. 

On-Site Interviews

Successful candidates will be invited to take part in an on-site interview with members
of our selection team.  As time allows, you may be asked to meet with multiple stakeholders
or, depending on the particular position, you may be invited back for an additional interview.

Presentations / Teaching Demos

Often times, candidates for staff positions who have successfully interviewed are invited back
to present on a particular job-related topic.  For faculty positions, candidates are expected to
come in for a teaching demo to be evaluated by our selection team.


 

The Selection Process

The Selection Team

Each position has been assigned a carefully crafted selection team who will evaluate your
credentials against the position’s requirements and review your candidate packet (including
your interview notes, resume, references, and any work samples you may have submitted).

Candidates who are recommended for hire by the selection team will be reviewed by
multiple members of the senior leadership team and a decision will be made.

The Offer

Once a candidate has been approved by senior leadership for hire, a recruiter will reach out
to extend an offer of employment and initiate the onboarding process.  Candidates
receiving an offer are expected to respond with a decision within 48 hours.
